The digital era is linked to artificial intelligence. Logic programming and automated reasoning in artificial intelligence are the two main articles for it. In its simplest form, artificial intelligence combines computer science and huge datasets to facilitate problem-solving. It also encompasses the aspects of artificial intelligence known as machine learning and deep learning, which are frequently discussed in tandem. 

These industries create expert systems that classify information or make predictions based on incoming data using AI algorithms.

The introduction of Open’s ChatGPT seems to mark a turning point in the artificial intelligence hype cycle, even to doubters. The advancements were in computer vision the last time generative AI was this significant, but today they are in natural language processing. Additionally, generative models can learn software grammar in addition to language.

Job Displacement: AI and automation may increase unemployment by affecting labor markets and worker dynamics across a range of Various industries. Automation and AI have the potential to replace repetitive jobs in industries, reducing human labour in specific positions.

Efficiency and Cost-Effectiveness: Businesses frequently use AI and automation to boost productivity and cut costs. While this may boost production, it may also cause the workforce to be downsized or restructured, which would result in job losses.

Change in Skills: As AI develops, there may be a change in the kind of skills needed in the workforce. While new professions in AI development, data analysis, and machine learning may appear and require different skill sets, certain jobs may become obsolete.

Economic Impact: The broad adoption of AI across a number of industries may have an effect on the national economy. Job losses in some industries could result in unemployment, which would have an impact on families and communities and might increase economic inequality.

Artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and digital technology are radically transforming many facets of daily life and industry in the Modern Artificial Digital Era that we are currently living in.

Here are some of the major traits and effects of this time period:

Automation: Routine and repetitive operations are progressively being automated with the use of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital technology, resulting in enhanced productivity and efficiency in a variety of industries, from manufacturing to customer service.

Data-driven decision making: Big data and AI algorithms are available, enabling firms to make data-driven decisions that are more accurate and predictive. This is applicable to a wide range of industries, including supply chain management, marketing, and healthcare.

Personalization: Machine learning and AI algorithms are capable of analyzing user behaviour to provide tailored experiences. Numerous online services, like recommendations for music or movies, individualized advertisements, and even individualized educational opportunities, demonstrate this.

Internet of Things (IoT): This is the term used to describe the expanding network of linked items and gadgets (sometimes referred to as "things") that gather and share data online. AI and IoT can create intelligent homes, smart cities, and better healthcare systems, among other things.

AI in daily life: From voice assistants like Alexa and Siri to social media algorithms, self-driving cars, and more, AI has ingrained itself into daily life.

Cybersecurity:  Cybersecurity is a major worry as digital technology becomes more pervasive in our daily lives. While AI can assist in identifying and preventing cyber dangers, it also creates new difficulties for protecting privacy and security.

Work and Employment: As was already mentioned, the nature of employment is changing in the current digital era. New careers in AI, machine learning, and data science are being created as certain industries are automated. The skills needed for employment are changing, and it's more crucial than ever to keep learning and adapting.

Impact on Society: The fusion of AI and digital technology has a tremendous impact on society and culture. Although it has numerous advantages, it also presents crucial issues regarding privacy, equity, and the moral use of technology.

v   India has a low level of intelligence

The "Information Technology Act, 2000," sometimes known as the "IT Act," was the main piece of cybersecurity legislation in India as of my most recent training data in September 2021. In order to contain particular requirements relating to cybersecurity, this Act was revised in 2008. However, the Indian government has expressed interest in and taken actions toward the development and use of AI. The National Institution for Transforming India (NITI Aayog), the government of India's policy think tank, created the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence as a crucial milestone.

It is always essential to check for the most recent information from reliable and current sources due to the rapidly evolving nature of technology and related legislation.

From the National Strategy for Artificial Intelligence, the following salient points are presented:

Research Institutes: The strategy recommended the creation of international centres of transformational AI (ICTAIs) to create and implement AI for social benefits, as well as centres of research excellence (COREs) to do fundamental research in AI.

Education: The approach places a strong emphasis on the necessity of spending money on workforce reskilling and upskilling in the context of AI, as well as incorporating AI-related themes. Into higher education.

AI's ethical application: The strategy makes reference to the significance of ethical issues in the creation and use of AI. It emphasizes the necessity for a framework of laws and rules that strikes a balance between innovation, privacy, and protection.

Focus Areas: According to the strategy, healthcare, agriculture, education, urban transportation and mobility, and public social welfare are some of the priority industries for the application of artificial intelligence.

AI can lead to job displacement in some industries but also create opportunities and improve human capabilities in others. Governments, corporations, and society must engage in reskilling and upskilling initiatives to prepare the workforce for the changing labour market. Emphasizing education and lifelong learning can help adapt to the changing work market and maintain employability. Businesses should focus on AI implementation that enhances rather than replaces human labour. It is a time of quick and significant change in the Modern artificial-digital era. It's crucial for people, organizations, and governments to comprehend these changes as technology develops, to adapt to them, and to make sure that everyone can profit from AI and digital technology.

The plan offers a road map for how the country would address AI and its many applications, but it is not a formal Act or law.
